Chelsea hold direct Eduardo Camavinga transfer talks

Chelsea may well be about to join the race to sign Rennes midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga.

The young French midfielder is the subject of real interest from a number of the big clubs around Europe, and it looks like it is Manchester United who are in the lead right now.

However, Chelsea could soon join the race, as they are in direct contact with the agent of Camavinga regarding a potential move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

This is according to Le Parisien, who also claim that Manchester United are about to drop a 30 million euros offer on the table for him.

These sorts of things could always be agent or club driven, looking to get a better fee or a better deal for their client. However, it might be worth keeping an eye on this saga due to the fact that Chelsea have been linked with Camavinga before in recent months.

Confirmed! Eduardo #Camavinga will leave #Rennes in summer. His contract expires in 2022 and the young midfielder has rejected a bid to extend his contract until 2025. #RealMadrid, #Liverpool, #Chelsea, #ManchesterUnited and #PSG are looking him. The race is open… #transfers
